Meet Equity Bank ITMs
Have you ever felt that something was missing from your banking experience? A middle ground between speed and in-depth service? Us too. At many banks, members are forced to choose between an ATM that can’t answer their questions and a long line for the in-branch teller.
Luckily, Equity Bank has the solution. Our new Interactive Teller Machine service, or ITM, allows members to interact with knowledgeable and helpful Equity Bank staff without long lines or appointments.
What’s an ITM?
The Interactive Teller Machine is a drive-up machine that allows Equity Bank members to access comprehensive service from the comfort of their vehicle. Two-way video chat connects you with an Equity Bank teller, who can help you complete lobby-style transactions including:
- Cashing checks
- Making withdrawals and deposits
- Making loan payments
- Checking your balance
- Transferring funds between accounts
As well as answering any questions you may have about your current account status or services.
ITM 101
ITMs are simple and free to use. Simply tap the screen, and you’ll be connected to your teller, who can then assist you with your questions or transactions. No deposit slips are needed, but be sure to bring a form of identification (a driver’s license or passport works fine) to ensure the security of your accounts.
As stated above, basically any traditional lobby transaction can be completed through the ITM. This includes transferring funds between accounts and making payments on loans, which are always easier with a helpful Equity Bank employee by your side!

Equity Bank is in the process of adding ITMs to its branches, so be sure to stay on the lookout for yours! Our ITM webpage is kept up to date with the latest branches to add an ITM, so if you’re not sure, be sure to visit and find out which ITM enabled branch is closest to you.
